When comparing cities, Niche.com considered various key factors such as the quality of local schools, crime rates, housing trends, employment statistics, and access to amenities.
The methodology includes a range of factors, each weighted accordingly, with some of the heavier-weighted factors being cost of living, higher education rate, housing grade, public schools grade, diversity grade, and more. Additionally, factors like crime and safety, family suitability, health and fitness, employment, nightlife, outdoor activities, walkability, weather, and length of commute grade contribute to the evaluation. This approach ensures that the assessment reflects the diverse needs and preferences of potential residents.
Virginia Beach is number 30 on the list of the best cities to live in this year, according to Niche.
