4500 First Ct Rd Virginia Beach, VA 23455

Bayside Recreation Center is a 83,931 square foot facility located adjacent to Bayville Farms Park. The facility features unique amenities including an indoor pool with lap lanes and diving board, plus an indoor double gym, basketball and racquetball courts, and group fitness studio. Also, visit Bayville Farms Park across the street for outdoor amenities including a dog park, disc golf, tennis and volleyball courts, shared use path, and more.

3427 Club House Rd Virginia Beach, VA 23452

Bow Creek Recreation Center is a 67,743 square foot LEED certified recreational facility located off of Rosemont Road. Recognized as ‘Best Institutional/Public Building’ and ‘Best Sustainable Project,’ the facility features unique amenities including an indoor pool with a sprayground, slide, and diving board, indoor double gym with basketball courts, group fitness studio, and more.

2521 Shorehaven Dr Virginia Beach, VA 23454

Located behind Cox High School and next to Great Neck Park, the Great Neck Recreation Center is an 83,931 square foot facility that features an indoor pool with lap lanes and a diving board, racquetball courts, weight room, cardio equipment, and more. Plus, walk to the Great Neck Park by the Lynnhaven Bay for outdoor amenities including shared-use paths, basketball and volleyball courts, and other features.

800 Monmouth Ln Virginia Beach, VA 23464

Kempsville Recreation Center, located just off Princess Anne Road, originally opened in 1977 as Virginia Beach’s first community recreation center. Renovated in 2017, the 87,000 square foot, state-of-the-art facility features an indoor pool with a play structure and aqua track, indoor track, double gym with basketball courts, and more.

1400 Nimmo Pkwy Virginia Beach, VA 23456

Located next to Strawbridge Elementary School and the Princess Anne Area Library, the Princess Anne Recreation Center is an 83,931 square foot facility that features an indoor pool with lap lanes and a diving board, plus, a weight room, group fitness studio, racquetball courts, and more.

141 S Birdneck Rd Virginia Beach, VA 23451

The Joseph V. Grimstead, Sr. Seatack Recreation Center is a 22,000 square foot facility located near the Shadowlawn community in the southern end of the oceanfront resort area. The facility features unique amenities including an indoor pool with lap lanes and diving board, plus a multipurpose gymnasium with a sport wall and rock climbing wall, group fitness studio, and more. And, visit Marshview Park down the street for outdoor amenities including a dog park, mountain bike trail system, and other features.

7. Williams Farm Recreation Center

Williams Farm Recreation Center is a 70,993 square foot, silver LEED-certified facility located off Newtown Road between Diamond Springs and Newtown Elementary Schools. The facility features unique amenities including an indoor pool with an aqua track, playground, and rock climbing wall, outdoor sprayground, indoor track, and even a multimedia design studio for teens. Plus, visit the Williams Farm Park next door for the 25,000 sf skate park and AARP FitLot™ outdoor fitness park.
