Norfolk Is The 7th Best City In The US For Dog Parks
Norfolk is one of the best places in the country to keep man’s best friend fit and happy, according to website LawnStarter.
To determine the best cities for dog parks the writers looked at the number of parks per 100,000 residents, those parks’ ratings, and how suitable the climate in the city is for year-round trips down to the park.
San Francisco is the best city in the country for dog parks, but Hampton Roads cities are well represented in the top 50. Norfolk nabs seventh place, partly on the strength of having the 4th most dog parks per 100,000 residents. Chesapeake landed at 26th on the overall list with Virginia Beach at position 45.
