The VABeachBio Innovation Park might be getting its anchor building soon, and pizza franchise YNOT plans to headquarter there.
The Virginia Beach Development Authority discussed developer The Katsias Company’s plan to purchase a fifteen acre parcel of land in the park and turn it into, among other things, the YNOT headquarters.
The Innovation Park was announced in 2015 as an impressive 155 acre extension of the city’s biomedical corridor along Princess Anne Road south of Dam Neck Road, and will be home to biotechnology startups and other companies. The new building will house 135,000 square feet of office space, with 10,000 of that occupied by YNOT.
The VBDA recommeded in the meeting that the city go forward with the sale of the land.
