If you’re a new customer, you will need to create an account (don’t worry, it’s easy), so click “Enroll Now.” You’ll be asked to input your date of birth, last name, and last four digits of your social security number. Submit the form, then click “Yes, create an account.”
  3. You will be redirected to a page where you will need to input your information and click “Create Customer.”
  4. Next, you will need to select the type of license you want to purchase and the duration of the license.
  5. You will also need to provide additional information such as the type of gear you will be using and the bodies of water you plan to fish in.
  6. After you have provided all the necessary information, you will be prompted to pay the fee for your fishing license.
  7. Once your payment has been processed, you will receive a confirmation email with your fishing license and a copy will also be available in your account on the Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources website.
