Affordability, accounting for 30% of the total index, was gauged by median annual household income and the Cost of Living Index. Remote work prevalence, constituting 20% of the index, was determined by the share of remote workers within the total working population, while commute time, contributing 10% of the index, was measured by mean travel time to work in minutes.

Insights and Tips for Achieving Work-Life Balance:
Whether it’s embracing remote work options, prioritizing self-care, or fostering boundaries between work and personal life, there are various strategies to nurture harmony in our daily lives.
One helpful strategy is to establish clear boundaries between work and personal life, such as defining specific work hours and sticking to them.
Prioritizing tasks and delegating responsibilities can also help manage workload efficiently, allowing for more time dedicated to personal pursuits. Additionally, incorporating regular breaks throughout the workday promotes mental and physical rejuvenation, preventing burnout.
Embracing hobbies and activities outside of work fosters fulfillment and relaxation, helping to maintain a healthy balance between professional and personal commitments. Finally, effective communication with colleagues and supervisors about workload expectations and personal boundaries can facilitate a supportive work environment conducive to work-life harmony.
