The former Lincoln Park site in Hampton is set to be transformed by a new mixed-use development that will be called The Olde Hampton Village.
A joint venture between Virginia Beach-based Axis Global Enterprises Inc. and Virginia Beach-based EDC Homes, the $130 million project will feature 284 luxury apartments and 118 townhomes, each of which will be three stories high.

The residential units will be complemented by 6,000 square feet of retail space, with potential tenants including a child care facility, hair salon, and coffee shop.
The development will also boast park space, a pool, a dog park and washing station, a clubhouse, and a fitness center.

Developers expect the development to provide a lively and well-rounded living experience for the residents, and the project should also create hundreds of jobs and generate significant revenue for the local economy.
EDC is also responsible for The Tern and Bayshore Dunes in Norfolk. The latter consists of units with a 3-story layout that might be similar to those coming to Hampton.
The Norfolk units are generously proportioned, with ample space for study, sleep, and storage. The units are bright inside, and have 4 spacious bedrooms, 3 luxurious bathrooms, and a stylish custom kitchen that flows into the dining and living areas.
