Transportation Plan Survey
The city of Virginia Beach is currently hard at work updating the Comprehensive Plan, and you’re invited to be a crucial part of the process.
A key element of the Comprehensive Plan is the Master Transportation Plan, which is undergoing its own transformation. The Master Transportation Plan plays a pivotal role in shaping the city’s transportation policies. It’s an effort to evaluate existing conditions and consider future trends and needs, all aimed at enhancing your quality of life. Issues like congestion, equity, and more are at the forefront of these discussions.
The Transportation Plan Survey was created to gather information on how residents get around today, and to inform discussions on important transportation issues that will impact their daily lives in the future. So take a few moments to share your insights through this 19-question survey, and contribute to the ongoing dialogue that will shape the future of transportation in Virginia Beach.
Visit the Planning & Community Development’s Transportation Planning web page for additional detailed information about the Master Transportation Plan. Be sure to complete the survey, and remember that your primary residence’s local election district is required. If you’re unsure about your district, use the user-friendly Look Up Your District tool on the webpage by entering your address in the search bar in the upper left corner.
Don’t miss your chance to make a difference! The survey will be available through March 8, 2024. Act now to ensure your voice is heard in shaping the future of transportation in Virginia Beach.
